Emergency Medicine Interest Group
A student group at the University of Alberta for anyone curious about emergency medicine. Hands-on skills labs, lightning talks from the people who actually do the work, and socials worth showing up to. All years, all faculties.
EMIG is a student-run interest group at the University of Alberta. We bring together students interested in emergency medicine — undergrads, medical students, and anyone else curious about the field.
Through the year we run hands-on skills workshops, host talks and panels with EM physicians, residents, paramedics and nurses, and put on socials that are actually worth going to. Some nights are run jointly with the Undergraduate Surgery Interest Group and campus wellness services.
No experience required for anything we run. Membership is open to all UAlberta students, and every event on this page is free unless it's marked ticketed.
Everything runs on North Campus unless we say otherwise. Rooms are still being booked — we post the exact location on @emiguofa a few days before each event, and email anyone who's RSVP'd.
